Ninety days is an editorial sequence for ordering first tasks. It is not a required deadline and not a promised result. A recorded plan row can still be unfinished work. Completed work must meet the written success check and cite usable evidence. A progress note is not an evidence reference. Slipping past day 90 is not a business failure.

Read the SME 90-day narrative for the suggested workflow. Use the three-row plan for a kitchen priority. Write the policy wording the review-phase task names.

What 90 days means on this sheet

Phase labels are see, start and review. They mark planning order. day_label is a sequence label from 1 to 90, not an actual completion date.

plan_status is incomplete or recorded. work_status is not_started, started or completed. Keep them separate.

recorded needs a specific task, owner, phase, a valid sequence label, next review date and success check. started needs that recorded plan plus a progress_note that work has begun. completed needs the success check met and a usable evidence_reference that points to that evidence. A non-empty evidence cell is not enough.

An invalid sequence label, including a number outside 1 to 90, keeps the row incomplete even if someone types completed. Missing required plan fields take the same precedence. The sheet is manual and does not enforce these rules.

At most twelve tasks sit in the editorial scope. A cafe or restaurant period plan stays on the three-row kitchen file.

Fill in the tracker

Download both files. Save a copy of the blank file and type into that copy.

The files are plain CSV. They do not calculate a saving. Columns: task_id, phase, task, owner, day_label, next_review, success_check, progress_note, evidence_reference, plan_status, work_status.

Worked example: four fictional rows, one completed

The example is fictional. Northgate Services is invented.

Task What was written Status
NS-01 gather bills Owner office manager. Day label 14. Success check: twelve monthly bills in one folder. Evidence: bill folder BF-2025. Recorded and completed. The folder meets the success check.
NS-02 remaining lamps Owner office manager. Day label 40. Progress note: walk started 19 March 2026. Evidence blank. No kWh saving is entered. Recorded and started. The progress note is not evidence.
NS-03 write the policy Owner managing director. Day label 75. Success check: adopted policy with owner and review date. Evidence blank. Recorded. Work has not started.
NS-04 become sustainable No owner, no success check, no next review. Incomplete.

If someone types completed without a success check, or with n/a in the evidence cell, the row is still unfinished. A day_label of 95 is outside the sequence labels and stays incomplete. That work is not failed.

Limits

A completed row means the named evidence meets the success check for that task. It does not prove a business-wide result and it does not certify the firm. Record estimate, approved and actual pounds on a separate budget line. Public wording still goes through the green-claims guide.
