Check one refurbished equipment offer
Copy one offer. The row is information complete when the condition, warranty provider, warranty length and return terms are words from the offer, and when data holding is resolved. A blank commercial cell is missing, the same as the word not stated. If the device can hold data, copy the seller's erasure sentence. If you do not know whether it can hold data, the row stays waiting. Information complete means the copied terms are ready for your review. It is not approval to buy, and it is not a certificate that the device is safe or legally compliant.
Use this after a replace decision on the repair or replace record. Stationery stays on the office-supplies checklist. The eco-friendly office guide mentions refurbished furniture. It does not copy an offer.
Fill in the offer checklist
Download all three files. Type into a copy of the blank checklist. Name no seller as a recommendation.

data_holding is yes, no or unknown. unknown stays waiting, even if an erasure sentence is present. When data_holding is yes, data_erasure_statement must be the seller’s own sentence. That sentence is recorded evidence. It is not an independent erasure certificate. When data_holding is no, write not_applicable.
condition_stated, warranty_provider, warranty_length and return_terms must be copied text. Blank and not_stated are both missing, so the row stays waiting. Do not insert a warranty length the offer does not state.
weee_takeback is stated, not_stated or blank. It records the offer. It does not decide a legal duty, and it does not change the status.
row_status is information_complete or waiting.
A seller’s carbon or e-waste figure is an environmental claim. The Green Claims Code requires appropriate evidence before that kind of claim is repeated. This checklist does not copy those figures. Business purchases follow the contract in front of you. This page does not say consumer return rights apply.
Worked example: a fictional monitor and two laptops
The offers are fictional. Twelve months is the words on the fictional monitor offer. It is not a minimum.
| Offer | Data | Commercial terms | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| M1 monitor | Does not hold data. Erasure not applicable. | Condition, warranty provider, 12 months and return terms copied. Take-back not stated. | Information complete. Not an approval to buy. |
| L1 laptop | Holds data. Erasure sentence blank. | Commercial terms copied. | Waiting |
| L2 laptop | Unknown, even though a sentence is present. | Commercial terms copied. | Waiting |
Limits
The checklist does not guarantee quality, data security or a lower impact. If the old asset will be moved as waste, use the waste-reduction guide.

Your next action
Mark an offer information complete only when its condition, warranty, return terms and data-holding position are copied. Leave unknown data holding and a missing erasure sentence waiting.
